Course Syllabus:
U.S. domestic transportation training program consisting of General Awareness (Classifications, Packaging, Marking Labeling, Documentation, Emergency Response, and Hazmat Security); Function Specific Training, dealing with Materials of Trade, Storage, Handling, Job Safety; and Required Training for DOT SP-9275 (formerly DOT E-9275 - the exemption dealing with products containing ethanol). This course was designed for employees involved in domestic distribution within the United States and cosmetic sales representatives that are involved in shipping cosmetic samples for companies utilizing DOT-SP-9275.

 

Companies that are parties to SP-9275 are required to train their employees in the use of this Special Permit.

  • If paying by Credit Card you can begin the course right after purchase.
  • If you are paying by check, your order will be processed after we have received your payment.
  • Group purchases are now handled by our ordering system. Just select the quantity of people that you are reserving the course for and after check out an email will be sent with further instructions.

 

Location and Logistics:
The classes are conducted online on our server. You do not have to go anywhere but someplace with a computer and an internet connection. Online courses have a time limit to be completed. If you do not complete the course in the allotted time you will have to sign up again for the course at your expense.

 

Registration
The course day-limit begins after you register (not after you purchase the course) you may register at any time you want. After you pay for the course an email will be sent with instructions regarding course registrations. After you successfully fill out the registration page, your course day-limit begins.

 

Single and Group Registrations
On single purchases you will need the billing telephone number and the billing zipcode that you provide during check out, to complete the registration form. On Group purchases (quantity more than one) you will need your billing telephone, billing zipcode, and the Group Validation code in order to preregister the people taking the course. This information will be provided in an email after purchase.

 

The Registration Process
During registration you will be asked a series of 30 personal questions that are to be used for test-validation. It is important to answer these questions truthfully as some of these questions will appear on your test. Personal questions are not collected or stored in any way and are only used to validate your test and show proof to the DOT that you are who you say you are during the final exam. We do not ask any identifying or intrusive personal questions such as social security numbers, marital status, etc. The questions are of a type that only you can really answer but do not compromise your personal identity in anyway.

 

Course Mechanics
The course is a collection of multimedia Flash presentations and a final exam. The final exam is timed and graded and used to determine if you pass or fail a course. Sometimes a quiz will appear at the end of each part of the course presentation. These quizzes are not graded or collected in anyway. Your final exam is graded electronically and by hand to ensure integrity. During the course period you will have access to the course bulletin board where you can get assistance or ask questions. Courses may require downloading and printing up of material to be used during the lessons. Upon successful completion and passing of the course you will be mailed by post a certificate of completion/training record.

 

Cancellation and refund policy for online training:
Full payment is required at the time of checkout. A full refund is only possible after checkout but before actual registration. Once you complete the registration process for an online course no refunds are possible because the training course is automated and you have full access to it for the following 10 days.
