Since 1976 R-A Specialists has been providing corrective packaging for dangerous goods shipments that have been frustrated at New York Area Airports. Due to errors at the point of distribution, mishandling, or improper loading on trucks, shipments arrive at the airport for presentation to air carriers and are rejected due to damaged or improper packaging. Frequently the forwarder or trucker returns the shipment to the shipper for corrective action causing two or three or more days of additional delays. R-A Specialists maintains a large inventory of U.N. Specification packages that meet or exceed U.S. D.O.T., ICAO, IATA and IMO packaging requirements. Our packaging specialists usually provide same day or next day corrective packing. We have also provided contract packing for a number of foreign governments, airlines, cosmetics shippers, battery distributors, and the aerospace industry.
